My kickoffs would be legal on-side kicks , with a good roll and a tail wind .

and I can tell you, kicking footballs and kicking soccer balls is not the same thing. Even though many would say it is, whether one is kicking a football or soccer ball, it is the same concept (i.e., striking the ball with your foot), but the type of ball and the fact that one is generally stationary makes a big difference not to mention has a wider surface area. I mention this because Huegel moved from soccer to football.

Soccer players usually have better kicking power because if you've ever been in a soccer weight training its all core and legs.

Skalski kicked in high school...and played soccer (I wouldn't tackle him!). No doubt, he'll toss his hat in the ring for kick-off duty.

The difference in kicking for the football team is being cheered on by 80,000 fans versus soccer and being cheered on by your parents.
