and I can tell you, kicking footballs and kicking soccer balls is not the same thing. Even though many would say it is, whether one is kicking a football or soccer ball, it is the same concept (i.e., striking the ball with your foot), but the type of ball and the fact that one is generally stationary makes a big difference not to mention has a wider surface area. I mention this because Huegel moved from soccer to football.

Soccer players usually have better kicking power because if you've ever been in a soccer weight training its all core and legs.

The difference in kicking for the football team is being cheered on by 80,000 fans versus soccer and being cheered on by your parents.
