Yeah, about a decade ago. With so many dismal seasons lately and no positive trend for improvement, recruiting ACC level talent likely getting near impossible.

Sad thing is the program is on a streak of 13 straight losing seasons and 13 postseason less seasons.Used to always count on the program being real good when Annie Tribble and Jim Davis were coaching.

history where there has been an intentional decision to completely abandon and ignore it by the Athletic Department and University. They were very competitive in the days of Jim Davis. Since then there has been a consistent spiral downwards until now, where they have been laying on rock bottom for several years. No attempts to resuscitate it are anywhere in sight. Only so many $$ to go around, I suppose, and this is the chosen "without" program.

One would argue that the administration would fold that program if not for Title IX. It’s a shame that a University with our resources can’t field a competitive team in this sport. I do believe that the program is so far down in the dumps that it will be nearly impossible to resurrect in the foreseeable future.

Just spent $65 million on Littlejohn. Equal facilities for women and men. Both have dedicated practice courts now. How does this equate to abandoning and ignoring WBB?

This AD couldn't care less about women's BB. The coaches can't coach or recruit.

It is almost impossible to win without your leading returning scorer. I agree the program needs someone who can resurrect it.

that whatever she's trying is not working. We're not just losing ACC games, we're getting blown out in every single one. It's embarrassing. It should not be this difficult to get a good WBB coach.

I don't think the administration cares that much about women's basketball. I wish they would. I'm also hoping that they care enough about women's softball to make it a success.
