these dang annoying ads that pop up and cover the text of practically everything I try to read? The ads don't have an x to close them. They have to go away on their own.
What's the point of donating if crap like that happens all the time?

I don't have them...but, I've yet to donate, too. Every time I think of taking the plunge and donating, there's a comment that makes me go, "Really? I have to pay to put up with that?" So...is that the 'content' worth paying for?

No. I get that stuff plenty, too. This is a banner that blocks out a portion of content. Most of the time it's Best Buy. Small blue banner blocking out about 6 lines of text. Only happens on Tnet.

I'll be shocked if I can get through typing out this post without spinning the wheel. In fact an ad keeps popping up at the bottom making it very hard to make this post.
The point you made is why I no longer donate, that and the fact there are soo many ads on here now versus in years past. Point is, this site makes plenty of money and I suspect it doesn't rely on donors like it did in its earlier existence.
Having said that - l visit Tigernet more than any other site. Great content and very entertaining characters here. I suspect what I've stated won't be a popular opinion here, but it's true. I also guess Crump or Bmeist will delete this.

What you are describing is not something we would allow. We have never allowed popup ads of any kind, but sometimes things go wrong and we have to find and block them. Thanks and sorry about that!

I used to donate. I wish I still could, but I refuse to have a PAY Pal account. I cancelled my Pay Pal account when I found out they are a bunch of leftists promoting gun control. So, if there is another way to join, tell me and I will re-join.

While i get a lot of ads i do not get the gift card ads. I know i'm only donating on the lowest level but i get a lot of ads. I'm not sure how it works, maybe donating on the lowest level does not keep you (me) from seeing all these ads. Anyone know how this works?
