Who steps up on defense this year?

I'm admittedly a little concerned for our D this year. But only a little. I trust BV will get the best on the field and coach a great game. I'm very excited to see who steps up this year. I think Skalski and Smith should do well. They've been in the system long enough, but do they have the lateral speed? Will Jones or Bentley emerge? Will Foster hold off KJ? Where is Mascol? Will X Kelly rise and shine? Will one of the younger CB's rise up. Thus giving us DK in the slot until Amari gets back? (I think TJ Chase shines in the slot). I'm interested to see when Booth gets in the mix. We have a lot of variables to figure out, but it sure should be fun to watch. By the time post season rolls around we will have the D titrated to a contender once again.
