You get guys like Smith who is an athletic freak in high school that practically has no position and just goes to the ball. He had little technical skills and never really had a spot in high school playing LB and going to DE and then back. Playing with his hand in the dirt and standing up. His ranking was in large part do to his measurables and potential. Don't get me wrong Shaq is the epitome of team player who puts his teammates and team first. Sometimes everyone misses and I'm not saying he isn't going to have a year where he comes on but this is year 4 I believe and he's yet to crack the 2 deep. I hope nothing but the best for Shaq and hope the light comes on but as of right now he is a guy getting an education that happens to play football. Regardless if he makes an impact on this football team he has already changed his life with his in classroom work ethic and will get his degree from one of the top public universities in the country.
