Virginia tech hotels?

Does anyone know where to stay if we want to road trip to Virginia Tech next week. My son is new to.Clemson and would love to.stay where alumni, friends and family of the university stay. We want to be part of the action . Thanks

Check the "dirty dancing" hotel. I think it's called mountain lake lodge or something similar.

All of the little cheap hotels are going to be booked. A lot of people stay in Roanoke so you might look there too.

There's no way you'll get in the team hotel. The action will be downtown Blacksburg and at the game, not the hotels.

I would love to have my son and I stay at the team hotel. Not sure which on e that is. We just really want to make sure we are staying with Clemson faithful not Hokies.

Most of the popular hotels near Blacksburg were sold out months ago. You might find one that has a cancellation. Good luck finding anything within an hour of Blacksburg.

Thanks for the info, I appreciate it. My son was originally planning to go to a different school but that all changed once he toured Clemson and spent three days there. He fell in love with the area, the people and the school.

The wife and I did a last minute trip to our game there

And got lucky and stayed at this place called Inn and the riverbend in a town called Pearisburg. Beautiful place run by a nice couple. If I remember right it was a 20min drive maybe 30.

Hard to find - and there are other colleges around the area that if they have a home game you can't find anything
