Hmm, not so sure on that one. It just encourages them to continue offering advice,opinions or their lack of knowledge to others. Kinda like one day when my waverunner would not turn over, like no starter engagement at all. I had a guy offer up his opinion that it was the spark plugs, being slightly stunned and exasperated , I could only ask which village he was from so I could call and let then know their idiot was on the loose.

Or maybe the time I apparently hurt a millenials feelings and had HR come and inform me I had to apologize. Went in to the meeting , they said have a seat and I said I would stand as it would not take long. I offered the offended the only apology that I found applicable for the situation-Bless your heart, I am sorry you are stupid. HR sat stunned as I told him that if that was not good enough for him/them they could fire me .
