Clemson fans boo Swoffy.
NC State fans hate everything blue, including the people that run the ACC and the ACC logo itself.

Which fanbase thinks the ACC headquarters hates them more?

Well....the ACC did vote to increase our punishment in the 80’s, on top of what the NCAA gave us. I’m not aware that anyone else in the ACC can make the same claim.

That incident soured my attitude about the ACC...

...an attitude I still hold to this day.

Despite what has been reported over the years, many of us refused to believe that a bunch of faculty reps would have dared attempt something like that without a go-ahead from certain AD's,

We understood that the AD's at UNC and Duke were behind it, and initially Wake and Maryland strongly opposed the additional punishment. Later, on the final vote those two schools were forced to agree.

There was a sizeable group of us alumni that wanted Clemson to announce that we would accept the punishment and after its service we would withdraw from the conference...and they could go to he1l.
