Last 10 years, CU opened on Road in ACC play 9 times...

Others: (H / A)

BC 8 2
CU 1 9
DU 5 5
FSU 6 4
GT 5 5
UL 2 3 (5 yrs)
Mia 2 8
UNC 5 5
NCS 5 5
Pitt 1 5 (6 yrs)
SU 5 1 (6 yrs)
UVa 4 6
VT 8 2
WF 4 6

Clemson and Miami are Road Warriors...
VT / BC Not So Much.
Pitt... only once since they joined conference...
Syracuse only opened away once since they joined.

Think this is correct... but possible mistakes... either way... interesting we're always on road.

Rad & Dabo imho!!!!

Noticed Unc, Duke & NCst were 5-5 home/away.

while Wake & Uca were 4-6 away.

Typically I tend to agree on the poor scheduling but not this year. The ACC protected their playoff chances by giving Clemson perfectly spaced home and away games all year, with our bye week perfectly in the middle of the season.

Granted, they backloaded what should be the hardest part of our schedule (NCSU, FSU, Louisville b2b) but with FSU and Louisville appearing to be on the decline it's actually extremely manageable.

I dont think it matters as much in football. Maybe if your talking about road Thursday or Friday night games, but not so much on Saturday. Plus it means more November games in the valley which is always a good thing

I did a quick check the conference schedule. Looks like everyone has 4 home games and 4 away games every year.

While the numbers are interesting, I wouldn't read anything into them. The ACC has given Clemson pretty favorable schedules over the last several years.
