Choose ou. Said ou told him he could play nickel and outside which he felt like he could do and said we told him he’d play nickel... which at 5-9 is probably all he could.

Have to say OU is getting er done in recruiting this year as far as star value is concerned. 3 5*, 10 4*, and 3 3* so far this year.

God, how I hate CFB recruiting. There are so many rating services, so many variables and components it’s almost impossible for the average fan to understand. All that coupled with the fact anybody can make stats into exactly what they desire. Every time I see our recruiting updates, I get sick because it seems we are in a downward spiral compared to everybody else( which I know isn’t true!).

I've noticed that we are tending to recruit players that fit NFL type players more so than what recruiting evaluators have said are good players. Think of all the guys we have in the NFL who weren't highly recruited, DJ Reader (JJ Watt considers him the best NG), Vic Beasley, Grady Jarrett, Adam Humphries, Baushad Breeland, Marcus Gilchrist and Dorian O'Daniel who was a low 4 star I believe will be a good one.

Too many times have I seen 5'9 corners/safetys in the 4 and 5 star range. It's an exception more than a rule for that size player.
