The funniest part is I read somewhere that to compete we really need to start over and rebuild LJC! (Again)

It wouldn't take me anywhere near 15 years to go through $100 worth of M&M's. I could quite possibly eat that much in 1 year, especially with a little motivation.

It should have been bulldozed and rebuilt the first time.

I think in 2003 that was the proposal... but then the board decided just to spend 33MM on getting it up to code. Then the same thing in 2015 or whenever. The idea as to demolish and build a new facility. But due to costs, they decided to renovate instead. Hence the feeling that the board is not willing to spend money on basketball.

Wouldn't have messed up football parking twice that way. Maybe LJ could have been converted to a tail gate parking deck and built a new arena elsewhere.
