My first cruise was in September 1994. Not the best time for a cruise. Hurricane hit a couple days before departure and ship couldn't get into Port Canaveral. Power was out in FL south of Jacksonville so had to change hotel last minute to a Super 8 in the ghetto in Jacksonville. Had enough gas for a one-way trip to Port Canaveral to get on a bus to Port Everglades where the ship could come in. Luckily power was reestablished when we returned so we could get gas to drive home. Private island was destroyed from hurricane, so only went to Nassau and had 2 days at sea. And the worst part of the whole thing was having to watch the football score update on the bottom of the TV screen as GT scored twice in the last couple of minutes to steal the game.

I’m going with not hurricane season.....so spring. We go on one every year in the spring and have never had weather issues.

Guess it would depend on where you are going on the cruise.

Caribbean I would say Spring early Summer. Seems like worst hurricanes happen in September

and October.

As far as intestinal viruses its a crap shoot and I mean that literally.
