At the game, during the second half, several of us commented "... we need to pick it up, we're gonna drop in the polls... how's the other 'top 5' doing.... etc., etc. ....". Me included. And although our guys were scuffling, they did come out on top. Like Dabo says, the W is the main thing, and they will continue to work on fixes and improving. I think I'm finally ready to (truly) go all in and adopt his attitude toward the polls/rankings and the talking heads. After all, these are the same clowns that gave the Heisman to Jackson and habitually talk up the sec and the 'perennial powers' (tOSU, Oklahoma, USC, Michigan) while continuing to doubt the Tigers.
The CFP Committee rankings are the ones that matter, and thus far - and for the most part - we've gotten a pretty fair shake from them.
