And they win more often. Dabo wins and is fun to watch because of his passion. Tommy Bowden was not fun to watch nor was he great at winning.

You are sooooo right. I loved Tommy--until the season began, every year. The poor guy didn't love the game. I always thought he was afraid to fail, fearful that he was going to let people down--and so he did. He never wanted to win by more than a field goal (that's the way it seemed to me.)

He was a great rep for the school. But even (i believe, fwiw) being a true Christian, he didn't love his guys like Dabo does.

I sure am glad he got us Dabo.

Always seemed that he was trying to run off 2 minutes and kick the gamewinning FG instead of scoring TDs.

I always yelled at the radio, "C'mon, why are you trying to barely win by putting pressure on one guy when you've got 11 trying to score a TD!"

Probably trying to 'manage expectations'. (Eye roll)
