Wow..Billy’s story, present job & task, copying Bama to the A..

but article never mentioned anything he learned or took from Clemson OC job so maybe i was wrong in that he & DaBO had remained close friends..and maybe not.

Do know Billy was a fantastic Furman Paladin QB (i attended there some at night yrs b/4 he was born) and still has close ties & memories there & here.

Good for him....

He was the "javelin catcher" for Dabo's being the unofficial O coordinator the first couple years. He took the sword for the team- glad he has rebounded from that debacle. Unfortunately, seeing more and more of the 1998 model creeping into the offensive plan this past year. Hope it ends and we get back to winning national championships like we should be doing.

Curious by what you mean by "1998 model" creeping into our offensive plan?

My bad....

Meant to say the “2008 model.” Just concerned the past year that Dabo seemed to have more and more micromanagement into the actual specific play calling rather than relying on the the skills of the offensive coordinators and focusing himself on the bigger picture that is the responsibility of the head coach.

Seriously?

I hope your being sarcastic b/c good Lord, we lost our whole offense from the year prior and finished the season ranked #1 with an ACC Championship. We have won 2 National Championships in 121 years of trying so come to reality please, championships just don't grown on trees. I know we will be in competition for one every year with Dabo though and I would be surprised if he doesn't win another.

You Meant To Say Louisiana-Lafayette Football

That institution is part of the University of Louisiana system and is not unique.
