Anyone ever gotten out of Travelocity Flight

Bought the insurance for like $20. Decided against going to A&M. Anyone had luck with getting a refund ?

Does the insurance cover if you decide not to touch? If not, you are probably just going to get credit for a future flight. My wife was not able to go on a flight last year because of a medical issue and was given credit for another flight. It was not on Travelocity but I suspect the terms are the same.

Airlines only issue credits. They keep that $$$

No but I have had them charge me and the hotel/airline also, now just book with the airline, hotel directly.

Booking directly with the airline probably isn't going to help either. Southwest Airlines wouldn't give my wife a refund with a legitimate medical issue. The credit was good for only a year. Her next flight was about $50 cheaper than her credit and they would not let me apply it to my ticket.
