Dye is a go, Peake has synovitis and Leggett has surgery

Clemson head coach Dabo Swinney said Wednesday night that running back Tyshon Dye should play Saturday against Syracuse. How much will Dye play? What is the other injury news? What does he say about Tyrone Crowder's pass blocking? What is the latest on Charone Peake?

Syracuse QB says Venables "known for doing crazy things"

Brent Venables is known to Clemson fans and players as being emotional and animated on the sidelines, but what do opponents think of the Tigers defensive coordinator? Photo by Jeremy Brevard / USATODAY

Fast Track to Stardom
Sophomore safety Jayron Kearse is on the fast track to stardom, and every game he plays and each snap he takes gets him closer to where he wants to be. What does he say about his progression?

Venables, Clemson defense thriving in close games
Clemson’s football team has played two thrilling games over the last couple of weeks, relying on the defense for a last-minute stop on both occasions in order to seal the victory. And while many fans may have been close to a panic attack or heart failure, defensive coordinator Brent Venables was having fun. He also thinks that winning these close games will give his team an advantage down the stretch.

Tigers not overlooking Syracuse despite the record; updates on Watson, Dye
Syracuse may be coming to Clemson with a losing record, but Clemson head coach Dabo Swinney says the Orange are playing their best football of the season. What does Swinney say about Tyshon Dye? How is Deshaun Watson progressing?

Will Roderick Byers make an impact on offense?
When Roderick Byers made the decision in early February of 2011 to de-commit from Oregon and sign with Clemson he made it clear that he wanted to make an immediate impact with the Tigers on the defensive line. That impact has been slow to develop, and it just might happen on the offensive side of the ball.

Can Clemson offense withstand any more injuries?
It's hard to imagine that any team in the country has suffered more injuries and attrition than Clemson this season, especially on the offensive side of the ball. Listing all of the losses is mind-boggling, and has offensive coordinator Chad Morris shaking his head.
