Yes, Ben Boulware, you are indeed one of us and you will be missed

Yes, Ben Boulware, you are indeed one of us. Boulware, Clemson’s fiery and emotional leader, put on a final and memorable performance for the Clemson faithful Saturday afternoon in Death Valley, shedding his tough and gruff persona for the tender-hearted, orange-loving Clemson little kid who grew up in Anderson.

A season ends, but this one ends with the sweet taste of success

The confetti has been swept away, the parade is finished and Death Valley now sits and waits for the spring game on April 8th. The coaches are out on the road recruiting this week, spread out across several states, and the players that were an integral part of Clemson’s National Championship win are scattered to the four winds. Welcome to the offseason.

Tears, raw emotion cap big day as Tigers celebrate National Championship with fans
Tears have been a common sight the last week, and Saturday wasn’t any different. Clemson University celebrated the school’s National Championship in football with a parade and celebration Saturday morning, and the tears and raw emotion that poured forth after the Tigers’ 35-31 win over Alabama last Monday night were back for the celebration.

Dan Brooks' retirement official, but who will take his spot?
During Saturday’s National Championship parade and celebration, Clemson head coach Dabo Swinney announced the retirement of defensive tackles coach Dan Brooks. Who will take his spot?

Deshaun Watson will shine in the NFL
Deshaun Watson’s NFL status is a hot topic these days. And really, it shouldn’t be much of a discussion. Any NFL teams that pass on Clemson’s greatest ever player are going to regret it for a long time.

Championship brings Clemson football full circle
Clemson football came full circle in the Shirley household – and a lot of other households – Monday night. My journey with Clemson football started in 1976 when I attended my first game with my dad. My first road game (at Georgia) came two years later, and there were many great memories from that first game until I graduated from Clemson in 1993.
