Two Tigers on ESPN's 'most exciting' players list

We are two weeks to gameday for Clemson - and less elsewhere, cycling through the ways to preview a college football season. ESPN compiled the top-15 "most exciting" players in college football on Thursday and two Tigers made the list.

Checking in at No. 4 overall is dynamic rising sophomore receiver Justyn Ross.

"Ross doesn't just run open, he cuts his way out of trouble, too," ESPN's Edward Aschoff writes. "Ross led the nation with 5.1 receiving yards per route run and Ross' six scrimmage touchdowns of at least 50-plus yards last season were tied for second-most among FBS players. Ross accomplished this on only 46 total touches from scrimmage."

Ross led Clemson with 1,000 receiving yards on those 46 catches, tallying a touchdown catch in eight of his 14 games with a reception.

Also in the top-5, at No. 5, is Travis Etienne, who led the nation in rushing touchdowns (24) and ESPN noted that nine of those were of 17 yards or longer (five of at least 40 yards).

Purdue wide receiver Rondale Moore paced the group after winning the Paul Hornung Award for the nation's most versatile player, compiling over 2,000 all-purpose yards (2,215).
