Clemson DT listed in Kiper's NFL Big Board |
ESPN draft analyst Mel Kiper Jr. has released his
latest 2018 NFL Big Board on Thursday and Clemson junior defensive tackle
Christian Wilkins was highlighted in the top 25 overall prospects.
Wilkins was listed as the #10th best prospect on Kiper's NFL prospect board as he dropped three spots from his previous rank of No. 7 overall. "Clemson just keeps producing first-round picks," Kiper said. "Wilkins could be next. At 6-4, 300 pounds, he moves inside and outside for the Tigers. He is a Jonathan Allen-type lineman. He could be an end in a 3-4 defense or a 3-technique tackle in a 4-3. Wilkins had 3.5 sacks and 13 tackles for loss last season. He has 2.5 sacks so far in 2017." In 2017, Wilkins has accumulated 25 tackles and 2.5 sacks.
