@ THE DOW GREAT LAKES BAY INVITATIONAL being held in MIDLAND, MI
As covered in another thread, Annabelle Pancake and Savannah Grewal are Teaming Up to compete with this Professional Field. There are 64 Teams in the Tournament. The Pros are competing for a $2,700,000 Purse. The Format is Alternate Shot on Days 1 & 3 and Best Ball on Days 2 & 4.
Round 1 was played today . . . our Gals are T-30th Place . . . They beat the Team of Lexi Thompson and Brooke Henderson by 2 Strokes!!! They Tee It Up at 8:44 AM tomorrow.

Carson Young started horribly with a double bogey but has recovered nicely and sits at +2 through his first 7 Holes . . . Keep in mind, the highest score WINS!!!

Girls got to go low today. I'm surprised that the scoreboard doesn't show the shots like they normally do.
Preferably a -5 would be nice!!!!
Carson with the double right off the bat. Maybe good for baseball but puts him in the hole at -3 .
Sam with a good start. He needs a great tourney as he's dropped to 41st in kft rank. Same as Jacob. Last week's poor weekend play cost him 3 slots and down to 28th.

And Our Gals are playing well at the Dow Great Lakes Bay Invitational . . . already -3 for today through their first 6 Holes of Best Ball Play!!!
The current Cut is sitting @ Even Par.
Sure do Wish we could watch Our Gals compete in this Pro Event . . . and yes, I’m still “pizzed” as NO CLEMSON MEDIA OUTLET is giving them any coverage . . . Just like They Failed to Do for Annabelle @ The Women’s Amateur in the UK a few weeks ago!!! B-Meist® and DavidHood® should be ashamed of their efforts.

Play for the ladies official update is 330pm eastern.
Sam had a good day making 6 birdies against 2 bogeys. Nimmer finished his day at +1. He's definitely struggling and will take a really low round tomorrow. Jacob is -1 thru 8. Had an opening bogey followed by birdies on 2 and 8. Needs to birdie the easy 9th and make some noise on the back 9. Currently t61. And Jacob 3 putts the 9th. 440 yard par 5. There won't be many that par or worse on that hole. A lot of eagles. Come on Jacob, you and Sam both need a great tourney.

Our Gals are back at it after the weather delay . . . Still Tied for 11th Place . . . Still 6 Under for the day and 5 Under for the Tournament . . . But finally someone put Savannah’s Picture into the System . . . I guess if you’re gonna make the Cut as a couple of Amateurs you ought to at least get recognized!!!
Kudos to whomever made that happen!!!
I couldn’t be more proud of these two TIGERS . . . even if I was their dad.
