This morning, before he went to school, I finally got to see my 6 year old son stand, unassisted, on his own two feet. I had seen a picture, and had heard about it from his school, but had never seen it with my own eyes until today. No matter what my thoughts about the rest of the week were, today was a great day.

And to the neurologist that told us he might never stand or walk by himself, never discount the efforts of wonderful special education teachers.
