Just watching the news around the world, I am thankful my children have not had to worry about the threat of war. Thanks to all that have served our country, military to police officers! I sleep at night without worry because you all stand vigilant!

Secondly, I am thankful to have grown up in and born in SC. I have been around the world and there are many beautiful places, but there is something to be said about the Southern hospitality and manners

God bless America and all you fine Tigernet people! Sorry for the rant just felt thankful

I'm also proud to be an American and a southern American. About the only chance we have of waking up in a war, is if we go to war with Mexico or Canada, and I don't think there is any fear of that happening. The only other way that I can see us being in a war on our dirt, is if one of those idiots way off send a nuclear warhead our way and kill thousands or millions of us, but the price they would have to pay for that would be more than anything they could imagine. It would probably end the world as we know it today, so let's hope that nobody gets mad enough at us to want to cause a nuclear war!!!

My fear is that one of these rogue nations with a fanatic tyrant gets it into their demented mind that an EMP attack in the atmosphere above our nation is something they can pull off without consequences. Things will get serious as most everything a nation of 350 million depends on is rendered inoperable. History has shown us communist leaders have no problem watching as millions die of starvation and illness. I have no idea if what I describe is realistic threat but I wouldn’t trust our government if they said it’s not a threat.

Our government is not very trustworthy and we seem divided and broken at times. After September 11th we were blessed to see what happens when we are attacked, we do come together.

I joined Tigernet when I moved to Ohio for a job. Obviously, in retrospect I should have chosen a different name. However, to far in to change now. Wish you could change name without sacrificing your history etc
