Seeking Elementary Teaching Position

Hi my wife is seeking an Elementary Teaching Position with a School system in the Upstate. She has her applications in with Greenville, Pickens, and Anderson School Systems. We currently reside in NC, where she is teaching, and want to relocate to Upstate SC.
I would appreciate anyone who may have some advice or inside pull to help us out. She has been trying since Spring of 2009 to get in the door but has not secured even an interview yet.

or discourage you, but I'd say it's going to be very, very difficult to get a job in those counties in the next year or two.

in, but you may want to include Oconee Co. Sorry - I have no connections (other than I do pay Oconee co. property tax).

She moved back to the upstate a few years ago from NC and was able to find a job there when the other counties weren't hiring. I believe it's because Oconee is a much further commute from the Greenville area.

School jobs are tough here too, and it may get worse. We may check Oconee also.
