Looks to be a tad deficient this year. Have their brass decided to go mainly portal or are their potential recruits waiting to see if Beamer will be gone come December?

even if they wanted to. They foolishly doubled his salary a year ago and would owe him most of that for each year remaining on his contract if they fired him, something they likely can't afford considering they're also still paying MusCoot.

I think they have regressed to mainly a portal team each and every year. After this season, they will really hit the skids.

players. So I think they're full bore transfer portal. I think they will be that way from here on out. They know that's the only way they'll be able to compete. Unless they somehow lure Saban out of retirement like they did Holtz and Spurrier. Never thought those two would have ever went there either.

I was talking to a coot coworker today about our 2025 class and how it may be the best we’ve ever signed. He basically said recruiting classes are a thing of the past and all that matters is the portal. Sounds like something a coot would say 🙄
