He is right. Nkemdiche fits Clemson better than Alabama.

Nkemdiche's family values education. That's something Alabama could never offer him.
GO TIGERS!!!! Now let's win. And if we happen to play in a NC game, it won't matter who we play against.

To be the best, you have to beat the best. I hope if we make to the NC it will be againt Bamer. We owe them one, and now Nkendiche owes them one.

With new defensive coordinator Brent Venables, head coach Swinney has secured a commitment from a big-time player. It will be interesting to watch as the months before February tick away. Certainly having Wayne Gallman and David Kamara, Nkemdiche's high-school teammates, in the boat helps, but it won't stop sharks like Nick Saban and Les Miles from trying to pry the prized recruit from the Pickens County Tigers.

I can honestly say as an Alabama fan, I would have loved to have Robert dressed in Crimson come fall of next year. In a way though, I can kinda see where the writer is going. Any Coach in America would be a pure idiot to not want someone like Big Rob as a player. I think it just boils down to what "HE" wanted. He has said from the start that he was wanting to go to a school that A)Could get him to the NFL.. and B)Where he could play early. I think we would all agree that he could have gone to Utah State and would still be drafted in the NFL in a few years.
In my opinion, the big part was playing early. It has been well known for the past few years that if you can't learn the defensive plays at Bama, you don't play. It has been proven many times throughout the past that you can have all the talent in the world but if you don't have it in between the ears, you are not going to see the field until you do. Everyone also knows how flippin complicated Nick Sabans defense is and how many players do not fully understand it until their Junior year. I really think that was a problem for big Rob. Not to say that he could not have learned the system that quick, because CJ Mosely did it his freshman year as well as Donta'. I just think along with the other things that he liked about Clemson, he seen that it would be pretty easy to start right from the get go.
Obviously, Robert picked Clemson because it could give him those 2 things he wanted, he would be playing with his friends as well as relatively close to home, and he loved the Tigers. I can't blame him one bit for committing if that is where he is wanting to be and obviously it is. I wish him nothing but the best and I think he will be an outstanding player for you guys.

just commented on that moron's article

here's what i said: wow. this article is the equivalent of a 12 year old's response when he doesn't get his way. "i never wanted him anyway. he's just stupid." Most people try to use facts or quotes to support their opinion when they write something negative about a player (i.e. not putting the team first). you used neither to support that Nkemdiche is a selfish player (btw being the number one player in the country, i think you're allowed to enjoy it just a little). and then to trash clemson on top of it? i'll concede it's not LIKELY that clemson will be playing in a national championship in the next couple years but it is a definite possibility. the REAL sports journalists all seem to think so. Even an unbiased source such as vegas has clemson in the top 10 of the best odds to win a national championship (http://www.bankrollsports.com/blog/2013-bcs-national-championship-odds/). you're right, alabama will be just fine, they're alabama and great recruiters. so show some class, wish him the best and move on.

Good post. I like it. He has the right to his own opinion unfortunately, even though it is not the opinion of the majority of Bama fans. Many that I know love Dabo wished Clemson the best. He shouldnt have trashed Clemson like he did as well as an 18 year old kid, very unclassy article if you ask me.
