Lane BRYANT stadium was ugly & a hodge-podge of engineering.

I was disappointed in the look of their stadium. It was obvious they added onto their stadium instead of it looking like planned outcome. Their fans were less than friendly. They put our band in the corner as a final act of unsportsmanlike conduct. So glad we beat them... I won't go back.

I had a great time. The opening with the sky divers and American flag was awesome. Enter Sandman was better than I expected. The fans were very hospitable and welcomed my crew into their tailgate. I had a lot of folks compliment our team, coach, defense and more. It was a great trip and I look forward to 2031.
I'm guessing you didn't really go up there.

" It was a great trip and I look forward to 2031.". 2031???? What the #### happens in 2031 that makes you look forward 14 years???
When you say "crew", is that really a crew of professional people there to do a specific job, or is that your family members? It makes a difference as to how you're accepted IMO.
And what makes you think someone that implied that they went there did not actually go there? Or are you just calling him out as a liar?
I must say - you had an interesting reply to the OP.
BTW: I did not go there. HTHIA.

2031 - next time we play them in Blacksburg. I thought the trip was that nice; I hope to go back in 14 years. Crew - three other Tigers Calling him a liar. I have been to a lot of away games. Won't go back to Columbia, but the ACC is generally good. Va Tech was great. I had such a great experience, I don't believe the OP.
What does HTHIA stand for?

And won't go back
After the 40th time hearing it I concluded "clemson sucks" is all the English they know. Saw 2 arrests- both before 5pm in town and I just knew I was going to be on Cops- Blacksburg edition by dark. Puking at tailgates seems widespread and for the life of me I have never seen so many fat belly women wearing midriff shirts ( if you weigh more than your boyfriend please wear one his shirts at least)
Trashy is an understatement

Yep - they were great until kickoff. Once we were in the stadium though, worst fans I've personally been around outside of Columbia. Plenty of obscenities thrown towards my parents and me. The main guy was about two rows back but he ended up getting escorted out by cops midway through the fourth. Their fans were fighting each other on the way out.

If people are yelling "Clemson sucks" and you're getting upset, then I think that's more of a "you" problem. If fans are getting physical with you or other Clemson fans, then they're terrible. Puking at tailgates turned you off? Have you never been to the fraternity tailgate area?

I went with a group of 12 other Clemson fans. We toured the football building, the campus, the memorial to those students killed on campus, the war memorial and game day set. We were constantly told "welcome" and "glad you are here" and similar greetings. Tailgated all day in lot by stadium and had a great time. Enjoyed the music and videos in the stadium and the sky divers. Awesome experience and loved it. I guess each person's experience as a visitor to an away venue is largely influenced by who they happen to run across. It reminded me to always be a gracious host to visitors to Clemson also.

my suggestion is don't go anywhere else. It's by far the best away venue I've been to.

If you think VT is a great road trip, you are completely uneducated on college football. Sorry...well...not sorry.
