Upsets all over college football the past two weeks. Playing a team with its back against the wall at their place on a Thursday night (which by the way has not been kind to our tigers) Our offensive line is so young they still have prom corsages hanging from their car mirrors. The rest are hurt or patchwork at best.
But instead of looking like a JV team with a leaky water bucket wen things were not going well (as we have done some in the past) we cowboy'd the @&$@ up and found a way to win.
On the road, taking a teams best shot, on a Thursday night and we win? Color my ace happy and not to concerned.

We had five days to prepare for a road environment we've never experienced. We were thrown a lot of bad calls our way, including a missed call that would have ended the game right there. Our defense still rocked (remember that the one TD they gave up came after a horrible hands to the face call on Lawson).
I'll take it. We had a lot going against us and we still pulled out the win. Good learning experience for us while securing a win.

players get a win (and learned how to win) and got valuable experience learning in a hostile environment on national TV. I'll take it all day.

by the way, know he had a couple of false starts probably from crowd noise, but did you notice the blocks Maverick Morris made while in there? He steamrolled those guys. What happened to Jake anyhow?

We should be very happy with the win, given the circumstances. Ten years ago, Tommy Bowden & Co. lose that game by two touchdowns.
Do we have some things to work on? Do we have some challenges, particularly in regards to kickoffs and OL depth/performance? Yes we do. Thankfully we have a couple of weeks to get some youngster healthy and work on those issues. And we get to come back to the greatest stadium in the country, in the most beautiful place in America, and watch our undefeated Tigers play what may be the biggest football game of the day. All of our goals are still intact and reachable. Selah.
