.......yesterday's game #1 should never happen. Though game #1 definitely benefitted Clemson, college baseball should NOT have a run rule. There is no reason to put a pitch clock in, no reason to put a run rule in college baseball. I've never met a person that said if college baseball had a pitch clock they'd watch. Not one person that claimed if baseball was condensed they'd watch has ever watched a game or will ever watch a game. That same person is now saying "well if it was only 5 innings I'd watch". This game showed last night there is nothing wrong with it and to leave it the #### alone. In another year or 2 Clemson won't get that chance to come back from 7 down in the bottom of the 9th. Regardless of what money and power hungry ppl tell you there is a ceiling to popularity. When you start fundamentally changing all collegiate sports the supposed new fans jumping on the front of the wagon start pushing off the fans that have been on for decades. These powers don't care about fans or the monetary value of players, they care about dead presidents.
