Well the at any rate, the muddled pic shows pretty clearly exactly what the official right on the play called. Then the announcers ... who never showed this particular shot at all ... were determined to disprove the call on the field. All we saw was the footage the announcers wanted us to see.

Until you see a clear (not muddled) still shot of what the official saw on the field, I can sort of understand making an issue of the call.
But not now.
The official made the call on the field quickly and without hesitation for some reason. The photo shows what he saw.

That was the first run flipped horizontal. If you copy that picture to paint, go to rotate and flip horizontal you will see.
