### were they thinking??? That was absolutely the dumbest decision I've ever seen in my 45 years of watching college football. Seriously, that was idiotic. Glad to win... but when you can put a 35 yard chip shot in to go up by 2 scores with less than 1 minute remaining, you freaking do it. That was just dumb.

we all know how that turned out. A blocked FG with a scoop and score is a long shot, but it certainly is not impossible.
Honestly though if Gallman stays in bounds the clock runs out instead of giving them 40 seconds to play around with.

time I have seen that happen. On the other hand, I have seen teams score from 70 yards away with less than a minute to play, numerous times!

when Auburn returned the FG for the winning TD. Wasn't blocked, but was every bit as much of a long shot.
And there have been many blocked FG scoop and scores for wins over the years.
That's how App State beat Michigan in Ann Arbor.

No it's not. App St already had the lead and blocked Michigan's last second FG. They didn't return it. They blocked a FG on the previous possession too, but again no return.

All players should have known the situation.. from the coaches. .. Wasn't communicated correctly from the sidelines, that's the bottom line. Right? I don't think we worked the clock correctly down the stretch.
