Y’all need to stop complaining about last night and start

Worrying about this coming Saturday. We are exhausted after 7 straight weeks with very little depth and injured players galore playing meaningful minutes. This is our classic struggle game before the break with a dangerous Syracuse team. Noon crowd not quite into it like night games and a few probable surprises popping up before Saturday makes for a real tough match that will require some guts on our part. More than any other game yet, this coming game will tell us if this is a CFP team or just a Top 15 team. Get through this one and we’ve got a chance for a Special season.

When I stopped worrying about the outcome of games played by 18-22 year olds

and simply

enjoyed the ride while I could (knowing it will end or slow down someday).

I understand what you're saying for sure. I'm a 1990 alum who was in the stadium for the Puntrooskie and felt physically ill afterward.

But that's my case in point: sometimes you're the hammer and sometimes you're the nail.

We've been the hammer MUCH more often than not.

Stopped them from scoring even after that. Great game.

I’m enjoying it. Kids changed my perspective. My post is just trying to get the complainers to switch to a new topic to complain about. Current complaints are getting old.

About the game in general. Was it a disappointing finish? Yes, but we still won and we’re moving on to bigger and better things. Plus, this is always how Dabo’s teams play. Lulls in October especially before open dates and then Championship November.

The Florida State game exposed issues that need to be resolved. The complaining and items of focus for improvement will not go away until improvements are made. If Clemson plays the same game against Florida State against Syracuse, the game will be ugly and favorable for the opponent.
