people saying Mute Point
I gave one guy a pass b/c he's European (swedish). So I was like, look man, I know bein from South GA and all, I ain't the poster child of proper grammar and/or pronunciations here...but it's moot point, not mute.
I just heard 4 other people say MUTE point, all americans.
this is why I want full roster control.

I almost posted the same thing.
Professionals who work for water supply companies calling it POTable water in meetings around other professionals drives me fuggin bananas. I even make sure to call it pote-able in front of them but I am sure they go home and rant to their friends who haven even worst vocabulary about how I say it "wrong."
That and the guy who insisted calling Rip Rap, Rick Rack.
