Wrong coach had foot on the gas

Don't try to slow down our offense to allow our defense time to rest. Keep your foot on the gas. We seem to get better mileage that way. Defense has to find its own identity.

I can hear "I can't drive 55" playing in the background as I read this. ;)

I agree, we are set up to go a certain speed on offense. If we slow it down not only do we get off sync and the other teams defense has a chance to make adjustments while on the field. As far as our offense hurting our defense. I don't believe that at all. We still take about 5 minutes to go down the field on many drives. The defense needs to buckle down and force more 3 and outs and they wouldn't be on the field that long and get plenty of rest. I say put the pedal to the medal and drive it like you stole it. Go TIGERS
