Would V Tech give us a good game?

That's who we are more than likely going to be playing if we wanna win the ACC again. A rematch of the 2011 Championship. Do we matchup well with them? Would we beat them soundly?

Agreed, I was pulling for Miami to win the Coastal. VT is only going to get better throughout the season. I think we will as well, to be fair, but they won't be a pushover should we face them.
The only thing I might be okay with is that Fuente will be facing us for the first time under our current regime, where as Richt might have had a little more background to work with.

If we do not beat ourselves we will beat any team in the nation IMO. If we turn the ball over 4-5 times it will be close.

They are better on both sides the ball than NCST. So yes and if we played like we did last Sat VT would beat us.

neutral field. At least going into this week we would've been. I'm not sure how much of a boost they will get from beating Miami by 21.

From a talent point of view they shouldn't ... We ain't Tommy Bowden's Clemson Tigers any more.. Granted if we turn the ball over we can make lots of games more interesting than they should be..
Hold onto the football..BV's defense would hold VT under 15 points...and we'd score about 30

Fuente was the best coaching hire last offseason in my opinion , and I have stated it numerous times. He is a good offensive coach and his schemes are on point . However , Syracuse dismantled VT ...so it gives me pause to think that they would be anything more than a minor nuisance for us on our way to the playoffs .

Depends on how many dropped passes / turnovers we have & how many halfback dives we run.
If we play them like we played against SC State, Georgia Tech & Louisville? We win handily. And, well, if we play them like we played everyone else, it might be like that FSU / Wake game last weekend.

As of right now, it's looking more like a match of the 2015 National Championship.
UNC is still leading the coastal. Depends if they trip up against GT, Duke, or NC State...if they don't, we'll be re-matching them. http://www.theacc.com/standings/#/m-footbl/2016

V Tech won, 34-3 against UNC at unc, so they own the tiebreaker, and currently lead the coastal. Get your facts straight.

I would imagine it would be a similar result to our game against UNC in last seasons ACC Championship. VT has looked good at times, but very average at times as well. Their D line lived in the Miami backfield and looked legit last night, but some of that may have been on Miami's O-line. If they play like they did against Syracuse or Tenn we boat race them.
