Wonder if that's why the Maryland kid committed. It could be that Dabo told him the truth. Something like if shaw commits we're taking him but if not, the spots yours.

It was likely the other way around. Dabo said if you continue fishing, you risk losing your spot. Sure enough, that’s what happened.
