yeah I really thought Billy would get oit going there. So far he hasn't. ANyone should look good after MUllen or at least you'd think so.

OC at a power 5 at this point in his career is a strong resume builder. If that coaching staff doesn’t survive 2024, no stain on Willy.

Napier is on a short leash. Maybe Willy knows this and sees an interim possibility. I'm not saying he tanks to get Napier out of the way but as a Clemson fan I can attest that sometimes the right hire is already part of the organization.

I agree with him renting and hope he negotiates a nice buy out because it may take a couple years to recover from a one and done.

Don’t think it’s really fair to say Willy Korn was overhyped. Didn’t he injure his throwing shoulder against GT or something as a freshman before we ever found out what he was capable of at the college level? After that he was damaged goods. Felt bad for him.
He wasn’t like Michael Carr or Billy Lucky or something.
Willie Simmons, yes, overhyped, but seems to be a good coach.

Great move up for him. It won't be a short putt but at least he is getting his shot to make a difference. I hope he does well. If Lagway does indeed sign with FL, he will have a talented QB to mentor.
