Will the term 'Clemsoning' start to haunt me again?

I really don't want to wake up to that term again....not after the elite runs we've had over the past several years. I hope coach gets it straightened out but I'm afraid we're seeing a resistance to change after having such huge success. Riley wanted to bring in new assistants. Dabo said no. Major questions for coaching staff over 3 years. All former players how had no prior power 5 experience. Does anyone else think we need to clean house/adjust to the xfer portal?

Don't you have a 12hours shift at Spinx in about 30 minutes?

Yes I put in my resignation at Sphinx to apply at QT. :)

But seriously, here's the facts:

Coaching experience prior to Clemson:

-Wes Goodwin: First coaching job
-CJ Spiller: First coaching job
-Tyler Grisham: First coaching job
-Lemanski Hall: First coaching job
-Kyle Richardson: High School
-Mickey Conn: High school
-Thomas Austin: 2 years at Georgia State

I don't disagree with any of those facts. You creating a post with "cl*****ng" in the title is the problem.

I don't see the issue. Clemsoning was losing a game you had no business in losing. We're the fourth most talented team by blue-chip ratio. Duke is around 60. We were favored by 2 touchdowns. We got blown out and manhandled. That's Clemsoning, as much as you want to run from it.

I prefer to call it c_0_C_k Gobbling. I'm sure as a true Clemson fan you can get onboard with that, right?

I thought it was 'cockflopping' and was reserved for UofSC only?

Sounds like an all star group to me. Definitely qualified to draw the huge salaries they do.

At this point. This is where we are at.

Funny thing is

the entire former player coaching staff is exactly the same Roster from those days.

Our coaches are Clemson-ing U players now turned coaches

Love dabo but he is the problem. Never saw Garret Riley running that offense I saw last night at TCU. He's just the figurehead for dabo's bubble screen galore offense. Bubble screen is what u run when your playing Bama and you cant run the ball and have to get it out wide to your fast wr's. We have one of the best rbs in the country who was averaging almost 7! yards a carry

Agree with the bubble screen comment. Reminiscent of Rob 'The Magician' Spence. Why are there no downfield passes? I'm not talking 50 yarders...just simple 10-15 yard throws. Obviously we have receivers that can't shake the defender and get open. I would think that falls on coaching rather than raw talent.

One game won't bring it back but a couple more bad ones to teams we should beat might.

I don’t GAS about what any other team’s fans or the media says about us or calls us.

We Clemson people know good football; if we get back into form then the others can go set themselves on fire. We don’t need their ‘validation’ as far as FB is concerned.
