Why is anyone surprised?

For years, this program has:
Had spotty pitching
Been shaky on defense
Been terrible at running the bases
Not been able to come up with clutch hits
Overall been terrible with fundamentals.

...
None of these problems are new.

I think you hit on my concern some seemingly fixable things continue to happen. Just seems if the staffs message was getting through that wouldn't happen. I think it has now gone on long enough it will be addressed in some fashion.
