Who's better than Jameis?

I've seen a lot of good QB's over the years and I have to say this cat is the best of them all. The best I had ever seen before is Cam but even he couldn't even come in the Valley and do what Jameis did. We might end up seeing the first multiple Heisman winner since Archie Griffin and a Dynasty for FSU.

But their O Line gives him all the time in the world and their receivers are on another level athletically. And they catch darn near everything, Hard to evaluate a QB when he is surrounded by so much talent.

I don't think it is. Manziel was considered the best player in the country but he has Mike Evans. Mariota has DeAnthony Thomas and a whole slew of playmakers. No QB does it by themselves.

Exactly why it's difficult to gauge the individual QB...

Look at NFL scouts and the difficulties they have evaluating QBs. Bama has assembled O Lines that *I* could rack up 200+ yards running behind. Like I said, he's good but his supporting cast is definitely above average.

(and group of receivers). They give him time to do whatever he wants. Granted, he is good. I'd like to see him have to scramble for his life some and still get it done to say he is better than Manziel. Clemson has to get O linemen for Deshaun Watson, Chad Kelly, Stoudt...whoever is the QB next year. That is what killed us. The O can't expect the D to play all game and be able to keep points off the board.
