Where did our TE's go this year?

Seems like in the past few years,our tight ends have been a big part of our passing attack. Need to bring it back if Stoudt starts against SC. What do you think?

We are recruiting good athletes that are matchup problems outside. However, I think it hurts us in the run games b/c we have to teach them how to play on the line. I think Chad needs to get back to what Gus does here, and get some big, nasty TE/H back guys who love being on the line or blowing up a LB from the H back spot.
Cooper is as close to that as we have, IMO

WR on our most famous playcall and hit the TE on the opposite side of the field - seems like there are always 3 defenders waiting on the pass to be caught on the edge. Also would love to see an all-out rush on the punter as our "trick play".

We have some good TEs, they just haven't matured yet.

Our #1 guy got hurt in warmups against UGAy. The backups hadn't developed into blockers yet. A glitch in our system.

I think all the TEs we have are expect to learn to block. I don't think we can expect a freshman to handle a DE so we try to get those with other game skills and build them into blockers.
We sure missed Sam this year. He was a real threat as a receiver and he was the only TE on the team that could block coming out of the gate. That needs to be addressed.
