It does to every team in the country......unless your in the $EC. Then it doesn't count because the grueling conference schedule never counts against them.

Yes and that’s why I’ve always been adamant that a team with an even record should not be in a bowl game. Your team shouldn’t leave a bowl game with a losing record

Unfortunately it happen to Clemson as the Tigers finished 6-7 in 2010 after losing in the Meineke Car Care Bowl=losing record,thankfully though things got a whole lot better for Dabo because the ship was right and he has gone on a span of 12 years with 10 or more wins
