Whats wrong with our Tigers?

We all expected bigger things this year.More points,more yards,more everything and that hasn't happened yet.Two things I believe are the main culprit on offense are DW4 putting on so much beef and slinging so many 300lb dumbells over the summer which has thrown him off rhythym,and caused him to be turnover prone,and Eric Mac Clain not in the lineup which was a big time loss.This o line just doesn't look to have a leader.One thing that has improved however is special teams esp kick coverage.Not worried about the D under Coach V.CU has the easiest path to the playoff from here in.I'm not so sure a paltry running game and continued poor in game management decisions(inside last 5 mins of games) will allow us the big prize,however IF we ever happen to put 4 qtrs of solid turnover free football together we will kick Ala or anyone elses butt that wants to sign up. GO TIGERS!

If the defense hadn't taken the first half off...

and hadn't given up 4 first half touchdowns to a very average 5-4 team, we're not talking about any of this stuff right now. So Coach V and his staff bear as much of the blame for the loss as anybody. Tiger D was totally unprepared.

You can't blame a bunch of freshmen and sophomore OL for not playing at a national championship level. They're ahead of schedule. They're not the ones who checked out and are just biding their time until the draft. Think that's not true? We'll see on the next busted play when we really need a first down.

Pitt had a great gameplan and their Quarterback executed

that plan to perfection. Pitt hasn't shown any of that this season and the defense didn't know what to do because we're an aggressive defense and we're especially aggressive against teams that are known to be run heavy like Pitt. They kept catching us in the blitz and the quarterback was able to stay calm under the pass rush and find the mismatch in coverage left by the blitz almost every time. I'm honestly impressed that our defense was able to adjust at halftime and play as well as they did in the second half. That's a game that gets ugly for an average team but we weathered it all from the horrible calls that left Pitt on the field when the defense had them stopped to the loss of our best Offensive lineman. Despite all that we were in positions to win the game several times but mistakes like the pick in the endzone that would have almost certainly won the game if we put any points on the board proved too costly.

If this were Clemson of years past we would have gotten our arses beaten and embarrassed.

LOL we played like crap and lost to a very AVG Pitt team.
A Pitt team with one of the worst Ds in the country.
DW made freshman mistakes and the OL could not open a hole if it were a wet bag.
You keep thinking this stuff is just football and will fix its self.
We might beat WF and the Coots but we are no where near as good as we should be.
2,3,4 turnovers a game is a sign of a poor coached team.
Our Predictable O that is very simple is another sign.
The talent and speed we have on Offense is why we are doing as good as we are .
It's not the great game plans or play calling.
