What the heck is a 'Yik Yak' Post?!

Yeah, I know this should go on the football page - and since Tnet has now replaced google as my 'go to site' for any questions...

...however, when said sit in protestors were visited by the Protestant Relief Society (or whatever it is that said Protestant group - the religion one, not the sit in one - are called), in addition to handing out pospsicles to said protestorial persons, they also conducted a prayer session for "...yik yak posts...." . If the Lord needs to help with those, then maybe I should know just what they are. Perhaps even yours truly could help?

Yik Yak is an app that lets people post things anonymously within a certain area. Clemson has had problems with people being blatantly racist on it and considered banning it.

Yeah, probably should be banned. After all, if someone can't say it, then they won't think or feel that way.

Created buy a couple of Furman grads, Yik Yak is a social media smartphone app that allows users
to post all kind of venomous nonsense that can then be read by other users who are in a relatively close proximity.

In fact, due to the inherent potential for cyber-bullying and harassment committed through Yik Yak, many schools and school districts have banned the app.
