What happened to our passing game......

especially in the 2nd half?
Serious question -
I thought we would have some success against their young DBs but nothing in the 2nd half - too much pressure on our QBs or our receivers being covered too well? I was surprised about that.

It's called a dump to the tight ends gotta do it bout every tenth play keeps backers at home and honest .. Mix in a yesssss draw play by the back bout every 12th play .. BOOM !

Wynsvltiger: You are 100% correct. How many times did we throw to the TE over the middle?None. How many quick slant passes to the area vacated by their charging LBs? None. How many quick flare screen passes to a back? None. How many pure QB draw plays. Maybe, mayre one.
The long and short of it is yes the OL needs to improve but we made no attempt at all to counter their aggressive line and LB play and I put that on the OC 100%.

More. A good O line is worth its weight in gold. They create lanes for the running backs and give the QB time to wait for his receivers to get separation in the secondary. As witnessed last night, the QB's and receivers are hapless without their O line.
It seems like we treat O line recruitment as an afterthought. It should be our #1 priority. A good O line can make a mediocre back look good, but not vice versa.

Correct - signing two offensive linemen per year in the last two years is "death by a 1,000 cuts".
Don't forget the Maybank, Region, Anthony and Jones experiments and loss of DeStephano and Timothy.

O Line in the first half was great

I'll never understand why two backs are not put in the backfield to block when the pass rush is overwhelming our O line.
I would much rather see 3 WRs running routes than 5 and the QB on his back.
