NCAA test? If so, surely the other three teams were tested as well, right? Or was this just a Clemson Ath. Dept. administered test?

Hearing just a Clemson test.

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

I'd say it was a Dabo test.

Dec 30, 2015, 11:06 AM

Dabo has made a commitment to the parent of his players to see their sons grow up to be good citizens, fathers and husbands. He doesn't take his promises lightly.

Dabo is more than just a good football coach, he is a man of integrity. He stands behind is words and his players.

The test was after they came back from Christmas break at Clemson

Did the team already know or are they just finding out?

Than I oppose it at this time, unless there is more to it, which there probably is. I think there is more to the story as to why he did it.

Just saw on a ESPN tweet( my son actually read it to me) that OU and AL had players to fail the test but they are appealing the test so they can play. Don't know how true that is but that's what the tweet said

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

Wow...if true that's crazy.

Dec 30, 2015, 11:35 AM

I can't wait to get to the bottom of it.

I'm in no way commenting on or speculating about the validity of this but if that were true and they played but lost the appeal wouldn't that mean the teams would be forced to forfeit the wins if they were to win?

Beats me. I told him that sounded funny. Could be true. Who knows. Might be one of those hacked accounts.

It wouldn't surprise me at all if it turns out to be true but I wouldn't believe it until I heard it from a more reliable source than Twitter but then again if it was Alabama I doubt the media would talk too much about it

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

I'm pretty sure the Coots were not tested.

Dec 30, 2015, 11:54 AM

There is no need to test a team that does not go to a bowl game.

Unless perhaps you suspect drugs were the reason they under-achieved. In that case, you might want to drug test the coaches too.
