That's good. Too many games bunched together. We need to look at our schedule a little closer next year in my opinion. We should never have multiple midweek games in the same week. We should not have a midweek away game right after an away weekend series. I think we need to let these players rest more. This could be causing some of the problems with the relief pitchers.

We have only had 1-2 weeks this season with two midweek. I would hope the team would have an anywhere anytime mindset. While the rainout may be beneficial to both teams, I feel like shying away from competition is weak.
Midweek games used to seem more common. We would play the chickens 2-3 times midweek, twice with Georgia, home and away with western Carolina, etc
My prediction for Clemson regional
-Clemson 1
- West Virginia 2
- coastal 3
- big south tournament champ 4
With Mazey and Gilmore retiring I feel like ESPN would create some storylines.

Go back and look at Wilhelm years. Late 80’s and early 90’s. We played 60 plus games for several years. Even hit 70 a couple of CWS years. Had to be more midweek games to hit those numbers.

Young men were much tougher back in them days, todays parenting has caused or made them soft and way to privileged!!!
Back when I was coming up, if a tough guy got into another guys face he better be ready to fight bc the chances were that the other guy was tough also. With today's young men if a tough guy gets another guy's face, chances are huge that he is going to tell on the tough guy. In my day the tattle tails were labeled sissies, and your chances were very slim to meet up with a sissy, and the tough guy was on equal ground of getting his butt whipped for getting in a guys face that he didn't know!!!

guess you do not realize 56 is the regular season max for every team. maybe if you do not have a clue just do not post. and maybe you could realize the 3 games that were cancelled were done by the opposing team. just a small detail i know.

I'm sorry, unless they have a field with no tarp, this will be the 3rd game they've canceled or moved and there won't be any rain... come on admin, getting worse than schools closer because a little wind might blow.

You also need midweek games for players who don't get much playing time. Coming off the terrible weekend it's probably a good thing it got canceled.

That’s definitely one thing bakich did not take from Leggett. Just about had to have a tornado on the field at game time to delay , much less cancel. If fatigue played a role in any of this, that would be odd as teens play more baseball now with travel ball than ever before and if they get drafted they’ll be playing and traveling every day for 5 months . This is as odd as Clemson in their traditional brown uniformss
