Potential situation at work

I have a real (sort of) job along with my own biz. Over the last week I'm passing a parked car every morning in the employee lot with the words "Justice for Trayvon" written in large letters on the back window. Today I happen to be in the mood to start some shat with somebody and I really feel like unloading on HR here with the standard "I'm offended at this racially-charged message that's designed to advocate for sensitivities I don't agree with. Furthermore, it is perpetuating an ever-growing racial divide that has no place in the daily work environment, blah, blah, blah" So should I start a shatstorm over this cause I'm looking for a fight right about now...

Indeed I do. pretty sure this is Title 7 law where the extent of discomfort and threat level is dictated by the person reporting it. In other words, I feel threatened to the extent that I say so.

Solely for the fact that this job would probably be on the line. Also, if you lower yourself to the standards of that idiot that put that on their vehicle, youre conceding enough as it is for them to come away happy with their choice to put it on the car. They are choosing to do so to make a scene, and if you give it to them, they have won.
Also, I am very tired of it myself and very happy I work in a very conservative, right winged, work environment and dont have to deal with this.

It wasn't tea. Apparently the flavor it was can be used with skittles and Robitussin to make some sort of drug that leads to paranoia and aggression.

would know that not one of us is responsible for what happened many years ago.
Using the term "white guilt" is just a political buzz term trying to lay blame to one group's political defeats.
Groups that were really downtrodden in our past like blacks , the Chinese, the Irish, and the Jews are given a little slack when they turn that anger against others, not because of guilt but because they actually were discriminated against largely in our past.
It has nothing to do with guilt. A better term would be "white sympathy" or understanding their anger and where it comes from.

Now, I do think they are (by and large) unhealthy symptoms which can stop a group from seeing past their anger, but I don't blame the anger's existence on them, but vice versa.

Using a slimier approach I enlisted the help of a coworker who, shall we say, is more trigger happy than me. It took some effort but I managed to enrage this mindless pawn on the Justice for Trayvon writing. When I suggested getting HR involved he didn't hesitate. The ball is rolling now, this outta be good. Personally, I thought this was a noteworthy lunge manuever.
