But I’m wondering what do you think we need to do from here on out to make it to the tournament. And no I don’t mean nit. I’m not really asking what you think we should have to do because some may think we’ve done it. Guessing I’m asking what you think selection folks need to see. Winning half our remaining games, winning two in the acc tournament? What say you?
Ok all of you are focused on my first statement. I get it but dang not a single one of you wants to actually answer the question?

EXACTLY the kind of game that Brad Brownell coached teams manage to lose, sometimes in even blowout fashion. Now, I do NOT WANT that to happen. Just saying that the stage is set for history to once again repeat itself.

They were awful at the beginning of the year. They are not now however. Lost to Virginia 61-58 last game and Virginia is the best team in the ACC.

Louisville and ND should be easy wins and we can't afford a loss to either. I think if we beat Syracuse and split UVA/NCS then we should be in decent shape. We might need to win at least 1 game in the tournament to make it a lock.

I would really like to split ncsu and Virginia like you mentioned and would love to win two games in the acc tournament. But you may be absolutely right on the minimum to get in.

I think we might need a win against one of those to boost our NET since wins over lesser competition aren't going to help us that much. A Syracuse win seems pretty important as that would also help some.

Some will depend on what the other conferences do. How many at large bids each get. Yes, we certainly control our own destiny simply by winning. The predictions which are usually close have 5-7 acc teams getting in. Most feel like the below teams are almost a lock. So we're kinda going up against unc and wake. Va tech, barring winning out and a run in the acc tournament is out. Personally, I don't think 7 get in. Each year there's at least a couple surprise teams in conference championship. So I see us as the 6th team in. Unc was preseason 1. If they finish strong, they'll be the 6th in. Jmo

We have 2 must win games tonight and last one against Notre Dame. We then must win 2 out of 3 games (NC state, Syracuse, first game in ACC tournament) to be a "lock". Winning the Virginia game would essentially cancel out, if we lost 2 out of 3 games above.
