Especially over the next 2–3 years. If you think about it, pretty much every position we have the pick of the litter at this point because of all of the success at those positions with both coaching, player development, and putting players in the NFL. Every single year, on offense we have a shot with the No. 1, 2, and 3 QBs and WRs and in defense we have a shot at the No. 1, 2, and 3 LBs, DEs and DTs. Now, with backs like Feaster we have really started upping our game with being able to land Top-tier RBs...and were even still in the mix right now for some of the elite prospects for next year (see Noah Cain). I think the same is true of our secondary recruiting. In the past couple of years, getting Top 5 recruits at their position like M. Alexander, T. Mullen, and A. Terrell has us tending towards elite-level status of secondary recruiting like, FSU, LSU, and Bama do year in and year out. However, I honestly think all that’s left is dominant OL recruiting on a yearly basis. Hyatt was a wonderful surprise a few years ago, and landing Top 15 recruits like Simpson and Bockhorst were nice additions as well. But we need to be able to lock down Top 5 elites like Carman, Mays, and Salyer with ease. That way, the rest of our elite-level offensive talent can move down the field with greater ease.
I really do believe that, in the next 2-3 years, we can start consistently getting the Top 5 OL receuits on a yearly basis you will see a dethroning of the Bama dynasty and a powerful ascendancy of Tiger Nation as the perennial dynasty atop the CFB world.
