Also, the NIL bribery that will be the ruin of many will not impact Clemson negatively in the long run as long as Clemson maintains its cultural identity. Clemson can counter by hiring the best coordinators and position coaches to come in and DEVELOP the players to be championship caliber. Several teams and coaches alike have tried to buy a championship team. It failed at the following schools so far.
Oregon
Texas A&M
Florida
Colorado
USC
FSU
The list will continue to grow at the tune of millions of dollars lost and thousands of dreams crushed. Dabo has the right idea about what is going on. Instant results rarely happen whenever things are being done the wrong way. Even if they do, those results don't sustain success for very long. Righteousness always has a way of calling folks home and whenever the rooster comes to roost, there will be lots of crowing from those who lost money, hopes, and dreams.
Meanwhile, Clemson will just hoist that Trophy and continue to truck forward to another mountain top to conquer.

Very excited by the recent hires, but Grisham/Conn/Spiller are not the best we can do. Austin should have never been hired in the 1st place. Don't get me wrong, I actually think Spiller is doing a good job and the jury is still out on Conn.... but the point remains, they aren't the best we could do.

Richardson and Grisham can go. Conn has done a good job imo.

KB and DJ. Neither were worth a crap. Cade got no game experience last season. It's easy to be positive about him over the last few games. I do not believe he is a miss. I think he can be as good as DW.
You don't fire coaches when you have such a hole as KB and DJ in the lineup. That was the best we could do at the time because no one wanted to play behind TL.
Any whining about our coaching staff is nonsense. Give the new guys a chance and let's see what they can do.
We're back to recruiting top classes, I think, and can return to those 13-15 win seasons soon.

This was the slowest Clemson team on offense in decades, unless the WRs coming in this year are Sammy Watkins ready against UGA, he better go get some speed or they will show u what having players vs not having players will get u

We are getting guys in space nearly every single pass play, but the issue arises when we have a young QB panicking in the pockets and/or not seeing his options. Cade needs to be great/elite, then you’ll see the true skill of the WRs.

UGA has fewer portal players than Clemson this year. Using them to argue for using the portal is an interesting choice.

UGA has fewer portal players than Clemson this year. Using them to argue for using the portal is an interesting choice.
UGA uses NIL deals to sway recruits from Highschool.

Oregon and FSU have better records this year than Clemson and in fact FSU beat Clemson this year and won the ACC…so how exactly are they failures?

The list goes on.... Whenever enough players have been a bust, you'll see NIL fade away and be offered only to select players that have proven themselves within their current program for three years. This will provide an incentive that coaches will use to generate loyalty. Then you'll see a bunch of bench warmers with not very much potential enter into the portal for the hope of possibly getting some playing time. All Dabo has to do is weather the storm and wait this one out.

Not exactly, because I have never been in support of using the portal and I have always held the position that NIL deals should be offered only to seniors that return for their final season. Of course, I also believe that NIL should offer substantial money to anyone who waives their draft enrollment to return. Everything in life should be earned!
